I am a second–year PhD student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Media, Art and Text. My Bachelor's degree is in English with the emphasis in Technical and Professional Writing from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. And my Master's degree is in English with the emphasis in Writing and Rhetoric from VCU.
I am very interested in remediation and how different media complement and contradict each other. My current projects include experiments in stereographic imaging; a documentary Home for a Bronze Giant on manufacturing, ownership, and preservation of Danilov Monastery bells; and my dissertation From Tempera to Ink to Code.
