The Great Adventure of a Bandaid in Tokyo.
This project was a wonderful collaboration with Necole Zayatz for our MATX 600 course. We brainstormed one hundred ideas, picked our favorite, wrote a script, and shot our own footage with a JVC hard disk camcorder. The video was edited in FinalCut Pro and FinalCut Express; animation was made in Adobe Flash CS3. Simulating world travel in under one minute challenged out ingenuity. We shot Bandaids in front of a computer screen and made prints of “Tokyo bar.” We also made “blood” from maple syrup and food coloring.
