-“I Can See Beyond!: The New French Extreme.” Explores the emergence of extreme violence, gore, and terror in French films within the past six years. Includes academic discussions on Martyrs, Cache, Tzameti 13, and others.
-“Dying from Laughter: Marketing Lessons from William Castle.” An exploration of successful marketing techniques within the world of independent cinema. This article explores marketing techniques of William Castle as well as Quentin Taratino, John Waters, and others.
-“The Darker Side of Musicals.” A look at dark-themed musicals including Reefer Madness, The Apple, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Happiness of the Katakuris, and more. This chapter explores how the musical can increase the tone or work against creating satire. To be published as a chapter in part of a larger work, “Cinemas of Transgression and Subversion”. Published by Fantastic Press.
